Employment Income Submission Deadline 2026

As the 2026 filing season approaches, we’d like to remind you that all electronic submissions of employment income for 1 January – 31 December 2025 are due by 1 March 2026.

Employers are legally required to submit their employees’ 2025 employment income information to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) before the deadline. More information can be found in the latest media release from IRAS.

Which employers should file

The above-mentioned requirement applies to:

  • All employers already registered for the Auto-Inclusion Scheme (AIS), regardless of employee numbers in 2025.
  • Employers whose employee count reached five or more in 2025.

We strongly encourage you to meet the deadline to avoid potential penalties from IRAS.

What has changed in 2026

IRAS has introduced enhancements to the AIS digital service to make submissions more convenient:

  • Extended back-year filing: You can now submit employment income for up to four previous years (up from two).
  • More pre-filled data: The Data Link-up Service now includes additional information to reduce manual input.
  • Simpler amendments: It’s now easier to correct previously submitted records by directly overwriting the old information.

How to submit your IR8A and Appendix 8A forms

If you participate in the AIS, you can submit your IR8A forms directly from SimplePay. Our pre-validation checks review your data before submission to help prevent common filing errors.
